(VERO BEACH, FL) - Acclaimed musician and violinist Carl Schmid will perform at Renaissance Senior Living for residents and their families on Monday afternoon in Vero Beach.
The much anticipated musical performance is part of Schmid’s national Grace Notes Project which pairs musicians and artists in recovery with the opportunity to give back by bringing free or low cost musical concerts and events to elderly residents in assisted living facilities as well as other populations. “The Grace Notes Project is an experiential lesson in gratitude and service for both the musician and the audience,” said Schmid.
Schmid, a talented musician, violinist, and founder of the 2017 Grace Notes Project, made his Carnegie Hall debut at just 13 years old as the Principal Violinist for the New York Youth Symphony. Schmid went on to win the Rosengarten String Scholarship, and won the Norman and Sophie Goldblatt Memorial Competition. He has since shared the stage with the likes of Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, Derek Trucks of Allman Brothers, Zac Brown Band, Jason Newsted of Metallica and more.
The Grace Notes Project event is open to Renaissance Senior Living residents and their families, as well as those who are interested in learning more about Carl, The Grace Notes Project or Renaissance Senior Living of Vero Beach.
