Renaissance Senior Living of Vero Beach Welcomes Doug Love as Executive Director

Vero Beach, Fla. (July 2024) — Renaissance Senior Living of Vero Beach, a premier assisted living and memory care community, welcomes Doug Love to the position of Executive Director. Motivated to nurture a thriving community, Love strives to combine excellence of service with a caring and attentive environment so that every resident feels at home.

Originally from Leavittsburg, Ohio, Love began his career as an announcer at a popular country radio station. Love eventually found the world of senior living and has since amassed over 26 years of experience, 24 of which he has served as an assisted living Executive Director.

Love most looks forward to not only getting to know the residents but also meeting the families. He thrives on helping families transition their loved ones into an assisted living community, making everyone feel at home.

 “I am thankful for the opportunity to join such an amazing team. Taking care of the senior population is an honor and the greatest responsibility we have. It is a privilege to be able to serve the Renaissance family,” said Love.

Doug Veazey, COO of Legacy Senior Living, states, “Doug has distinguished himself as a highly energetic, experienced and dedicated leader. His years of experience, drive, and compassion for seniors will guide him well as he assumes this role.”

Love is a member of local Veterans organization, American Legion Post 117. He is also an avid motorcyclist, finding every opportunity to ride for good causes in his community. He plans on joining Bikers Against Child Abuse who help children who have tragedy in their lives. Love and his wife of sixteen years, Judy, have four children and five grandchildren who they love dearly.
